We love this simple asian inspired dipping sauce which is delicious paired with spring rolls or dumplings. The honey adds a lovely sticky sweetness to the sauce.

Ingredients

2 tsp vegetable oil

2 spring onions, thinly sliced

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 small red chilli, thinly sliced (we remove if making for the kids)

1/3 cup soy sauce

1 tbsp Kai Ora Manuka Honey

1 tsp sesame oil
-
2 tbsp cold water

1 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
Method
Heat vegetable oil in a small frying pan over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic and chilli. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until onion and chilli starts to char. Transfer to a heatproof bowl.
Add soy sauce, Kai Ora Manuka Honey, sesame oil, sesame seeds and the cold water and mix to combine. Enjoy with your fav spring rolls or dumplings.
