The "Ohh so FUN and tastes Ohh so GOOD" summer popsicle that is as healthy as it gets as far as treats go for kids.
RECIPE//
3 Large Kiwi Fruit
1-2 Tablespoon of Manuka Honey
1/2 cup of melted chocolate ( use dark chocolate as a less sugar option)
Optional Ingredients:
Roasted crushed almonds
METHOD//
Slice Kiwi Fruit into 1-2 inch chunks and poke popsicles sticks into the bottom and lay flat on a tray.
Once all are laid out evenly, spread a dollop of honey per Kiwi 🥝 evenly and pop into fridge for 5-10min.
Melt 1/2 cup of chocolate in a double boiler (or 3-4 x 20sec turns in microwave should also give good melted consistency too) Once cooled slightly, dip and cover each popsicle in chocolate, lay on a flat tray lined with non stick paper & place freeze until ready to serve.
TIPS//
Children love this recipe so make sure you make 2 batches.
Making this with children can get quite messy, make sure you have a lot of water and cloths handy 🤩
Each batch will last up to 2 weeks frozen.
